South Kensington Farmers' Market (Bute Street)

The market is typical of any farmers' market selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, breads, fish & other meats, eggs, jams, cheeses and more. In addition to the fresh meat and produce that you can take away, you can grab a freshly made pie to eat there or indulge in some Italian gelato at the famous Oddano’s on Bute Street, whose motto is – “Life’s too short to eat bad ice cream”.
Some of the regulars, like Madame Gautier, cook up their fresh produce so that you’re able to enjoy it straight away and mix it up by changing their menu weekly, so you can keep coming back to try more. Some of their selections in the past have included roasted ham hock, coq au vin and crab galette – don’t ask us what that all means, but trust us when we say – it’s tasty! Other regulars include Fosse Meadows Farm, which is the ideal place to get your Christmas turkey or your Sunday roast chicken. Their free-range farm in Leicestershire ensures that their birds have plenty of grassland to run around in and are super tasty.
