The Villa Kensington

Housed in a former Victorian townhouse, the Villa Kensington provides bed and breakfast style accommodation at a much lower cost than many of the other hotel establishments in the vicinity. Rated as 3-stars, the accommodation is simple and without luxury. However, with elegantly refurbished rooms, modern amenities and breakfast included in the rates, the Villa Kensington is an excellent choice for travellers simply seeking a conveniently located base for London exploration.

Accommodation

Each one of the 38 rooms has been recently refurbished and redecorated and they are styled with neutral tones and elegant modern furniture. In-room facilities include flat screen televisions with digital channels, a desk with a chair, a laptop compatible safe, a tea and coffee making tray, complimentary Wi-Fi and air-conditioning.

Guests can choose from Single, Double, Twin (larger than double rooms) or Triple rooms that have one double and one single bed and are ideal for families. All rooms have modern en-suite bathroom facilities that include rain showers.

Restaurants and Bars

Villa Kensington offers bed and breakfast style accommodation, and therefore, there is no bar or formal restaurant.

However, a hearty breakfast is served each morning in the dining room that is lit by a large glass ceiling creating the illusion of al fresco style dining. A continental breakfast buffet is included with the room rate and consists of cereals, pastries, eggs, toast, fruit and yogurt. Additionally, for £5.50 per person guests can opt for a Full English breakfast.

For evening meals, the hotel’s location just off Cromwell Road ensures a host of restaurants, bars and cafés available within a short walking distance.
