On a quiet residential street, hidden away from lively tourist hotspots, one of London’s best kept secrets is the Bentley Hotel. It offers five-star accommodation housed within three former Georgian townhouses. Featuring interiors created from 600 tonnes of marble imported from Mediterranean countries, extravagant crystal chandeliers and regency style furnishings, a stay at the Bentley is a sumptuous affair. The hotel is a short walk from Gloucester Road tube station and is close to a number of attractions. These include the South Kensington museums and some of London’s most fashionable department stores including Harrods and Peter Jones.

Accommodation

Rooms are generously sized with the smallest rooms offering around 30 square metres of space. Elegant in their design, they feature silk covered walls, antique style furniture and luxurious Egyptian cotton linen. Each room is very well-appointed and includes a television with satellite channels, broadband and Wi-Fi internet access (surcharges apply), on-demand films and music, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini-bar and a writing desk with a chair.

All of the rooms and suites include large en-suite marble bathrooms with whirlpool baths and walk-in showers. Deluxe Rooms are available with queen, twin or king size beds. A selection of suites is available with separate lounges and many include separate dining rooms. The signature Imperial Suite even boasts its own piano and private access to the hotel’s spa.

Restaurants and Bars

Peridot, the Bentley’s restaurant, is open daily from 7am until 10pm. This brasserie style restaurant serves British cuisine in a delightful dining room lit with large skylights that has views of neighbouring gardens. Peridot offers a traditional English breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with options to suit all taste buds.

Guests can also dine in Malachite, the Bentley’s cocktail lounge, which serves a selection of light bites and snacks. With comfortable armchairs, gilded plasterwork and live jazz performed on the piano, Malachite is an excellent choice of venue for enjoying a post theatre drink or an evening out with friends.

Additional Facilities and Services

The Bentley is one of a limited number of London hotels that is equipped with a traditional Turkish Bath (Hamam), offering a revitalising experience. In addition, Le Kalon Spa, situated within the hotel, has an extensive spa treatment menu.

The hotel has a licence for perform civil marriage ceremonies and has a number of rooms that can be hired for various events.
