Extensively refurbished in 2006, the Victorian building that houses the Sloane Square Hotel has a long history of providing quality accommodation. The Beatles spent several weeks in the hotel during 1962, and later Paul McCartney met his future girlfriend Jane Asher whilst staying there for an interview. Today, the hotel offers elegant accommodation in an excellent location with close proximity to Knightsbridge and its fashionable stores, the South Kensington museums and Buckingham Palace.

Accommodation

Following on from the hotel’s refurbishment, the 102 rooms are styled with bespoke wallpaper featuring bold patterns and colours, as well as contemporary furniture. Some rooms are small with unique curving walls, whilst others feature window seats or balconies. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and broadband internet, iPod docking stations and flat screen televisions. Some rooms also include Nespresso coffee makers and a mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks.

Guests can choose from Single, Small Double, Double, Twin, Superior, Club, Club Family or Junior Suite rooms. Single rooms are extremely small but cleverly designed to accommodate a desk. Superior and Club rooms have king-size beds, whilst the Junior Suite is a large open plan space at the top of the hotel. All have en-suite bathroom facilities.

Restaurants and Bars

Open daily from 7am (8am on Sundays), Côte Brasserie serves modern French cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whilst part of the greater Côte chain, guests are able to charge their meal to their rooms. Ingredients are sourced from artisan producers in France and the menu includes classic French favourites such as Steak Frites, as well as contemporary items inspired by French flavours. Breakfast is, of course, another French affair with croissants and the Croque Monsieur on offer; however, a hearty English cooked breakfast is also available.

There is no bar, however, Côte Brasserie has an extensive selection of French wines and other beverages that can be enjoyed either in the restaurant or ordered directly to be consumed in the guest rooms.

Additional Facilities and Services

Sloane Square Hotel has two meeting rooms for hire that can accommodate a maximum of 14 people.
