Located on Cromwell Road, Kensington’s bustling thoroughfare, NH London Kensington – from global hotel chain NH – is a large modern hotel that underwent a complete refurbishment in 2006. The result was the creation of 121 stylish rooms and suites that feature all of the modern amenities that travellers can expect from a four-star rated hotel, behind a grand Victorian façade. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Earl’s Court tube station and from Kensington High Street, whilst the South Kensington museums are all within easy walking distance.
Accommodation
The rooms and suites in the NH London Kensington are generously sized for a central London hotel with standard rooms offering 22 square metres of space. All rooms are presented in a contemporary style with splashes of bold colour contrasted against the neutrally decorated walls. In-room amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat screen television with satellite and movie channels, an espresso maker and a kettle, a desk, a safe and a mini bar. In addition, all rooms have a seating area with a table.
Standard and Superior rooms are available, along with suites. Superior rooms have more space and can accommodate three people with one person on a sofa bed. Suites are split level with a large separate living area on the upper level. All rooms have modern en-suite bathrooms with complimentary bath products.
Restaurants and Bars
The NH London has a large trendy restaurant that is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A breakfast buffet is served each morning that has an extensive selection of items including pastries, cereals, yogurts and breads. Hot food is prepared to order. During the day, the restaurant serves Mediterranean style cuisine until 10pm. The hotel’s bar is located within a conservatory that overlooks the garden and features comfortable seats that offer the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of shopping and sightseeing. During the warmer weather, guests can opt to enjoy their drinks outdoors in the garden.
Additional Facilities and Services
A fitness suite is available exclusively for guests. It is open 24-hours a day and is free to use. It is equipped with two treadmills, two cardiovascular machines and a selection of weights.
