On Cromwell Road, just south of Kensington Gardens and near to Gloucester Road tube station, Hotel Xenia is one of London’s newest hotels. The traditional Victorian façade of this restored townhouse hides a lively and sophisticated hotel with vibrant and contemporary interiors. Named after the ancient Greek notion of hospitality and friendship, Hotel Xenia pledges to offer a warm welcome to its guests.
Accommodation
Boasting state of the art amenities and elegant interiors with quirky artwork, Hotel Xenia’s 99 rooms are well-appointed. Each room includes a flat screen television with satellite channels, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, a tablet computer with room service ordering facilities, a telephone, a desk and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Classic, Executive and Deluxe rooms are available, with the larger Executive and Double rooms including a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary canapés served each evening in the bar. In addition, there is one suite with a lounge, bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and balcony. All of the guestrooms also include en-suite bathrooms with L’Occitane toiletries and heated towel rails.
Restaurants and Bars
On the ground floor of the hotel in the conservatory, the Evoluzione restaurant is masterfully led by Michelin starred chef Andrea Angeletti and serves up a tempting selection of traditional Italian dishes with contemporary twists. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Additionally, the Xenia Lounge serves food all day and is a delightful space to unwind with its unique contemporary design and music from a grand piano. The menu consists of light bites, snacks and pastries, as well as hot and cold beverages.
There is also the Living Wall Bar, which is open every day from 5pm and features a heated herb garden with a specialist cigar selection. The bar serves an extensive selection of cocktails, as well as wines, beers and spirits.
Additional Facilities and Services
On the lower floor of Hotel Xenia, the Living Lounge is a space provided for the exclusive use of guests (unless previously booked out for a private event) that has an 84-inch 3D ultra HD television, a pool table, a ping-pong table, a wine selection and comfortable sofas.
